Wanna Cosplay!

Hey everyone! There's been some changes to this blog, with a new name and style :3

The new name is 'Wanna Cosplay!', and will still be tracking the cosplay and progress of Oh!Darling Pan, but with new tutorials and ideas and zany, zany fun along the way.

I really wanted to have something in the way of posting progress as I am working on my cosplays, from beginning to end, to  give folks more of an idea of how I get from point A to point B, and not as much guesswork as to how I made something.

I look forward to posting more often!  Can you guess who's first? HONEY LEMON, from Big Hero 6! The photo here was taken by the amazing WeNeals Photography of my newly Debuted Honey Lemon. Her Battle Gear is next, so I hope you enjoy what's coming up! :D

'Cause girls just Wanna Cosplay!

~*~Happy New Year!~*~
Hoping that everyone had a great start to the New Year! I did the same thing that I do every year, however, this year seemed to be particularly fun. There is a formal New years Cosplay ball that I attend each year, and this year I got to spend it with a friend that I rarely see that was visiting from out of state. It was so nice to see her, and spend time with other friends that I still don't get to see nearly as often as I would like to.
Each year I plan a different cosplay, but this is one that we had been planning for a few years and it finally came to fruition. We cosplayed Rose and Jack from Titanic, and it was probably one of the best cosplay experiences I've had in quite some time.
The entire night was a blur of friendly familiar faces, along with dancing and great music.
You wanna go to a real party?
My Rose and I waltzed to As the World Falls Down which is one of my favorite songs from Labyrinth (It's the Goblin King inside of me, what can I say?) It was fun teaching her a simple waltz, and then later with a faster song I pulled her into a spin just like in the below decks party in the movie.
But anywho! What a great start to a new year. As a wrap up to 2014, I've posted MOST of my completed cosplays from last year, along with a somewhat tentative line up for 2015! I hope everyone has a great near year, and hold on to those resolutions.
My resolution is to work harder toward my goals, and not procrastinate as much.
